Vision
To see a flourishing Nigeria characterized by public leaders known for their trustworthiness and integrity.
Mission
To cultivate and expand a network of forward-thinking public leaders committed to the welfare and prosperity of all citizens.
A Legacy of Transformation
Our journey began in 2019, when leading Nigerian intellectuals gathered in Berlin to address the urgent need for a new political order in Nigeria. Driven by the groundbreaking fellowship research of Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili at the Robert Bosch Academy, the #FixPolitics initiative emerged. It acknowledged the stark reality of underperforming public leadership in Africa, despite the region’s abundant natural and human resources. Her research illuminated a deeply rooted culture of leadership that often prioritized personal interests over the collective well-being of citizens.
In 2020, this commitment to change gave rise to three Work Study Groups led by ethical and mission-driven Nigerians. Their collective vision encompassed the establishment of a world-class learning centre, the revitalization of Nigeria’s value systems, the empowerment of the electorate, and the reform of constitutional, political, and electoral structures.

SPPG: The Catalyst for Change
The School of Politics, Policy & Governance (SPPG) our parent organisation represents the Values-based leadership pillar of the #FixPolitics initiative. SPPG’s overarching goal is to redefine politics in Nigeria and throughout Africa. The School’s aim is to cultivate a formidable base and pipeline of new-age leaders, equipped with a foundation of values and disruptive thinking, armed with the knowledge and skills needed for effective leadership.
SPPG plays a pivotal role in fulfilling the #FixPolitics mission, which is centred on elevating the Office of the Citizen to its rightful place within our nation and cultivating a political class of servant leaders.
The Public Leaders Network - A community of Value-based leaders
The Public Leaders Network (PLN) of the School of Politics, Policy & Governance (SPPG) is a dynamic and forward-thinking community of individuals who, as graduates of the School, share a common connection to SPPG, an institution dedicated to transforming politics, policy, and governance in Nigeria and Africa. The PLN serves as the bridge that links past, present, and future leaders committed to shaping a brighter political landscape for their nations.

The SPPG Public Leaders Engagement Model
Network of SPPG Public Leaders

Lifelong Learning & Leadership Development:
The Network will facilitate continuous learning and leadership development. It will provide lifelong access to leadership training, educational resources, and opportunities for professional growth, ensuring that graduates can continue to evolve as public leaders.
